Today’s act of kindness is actually an ongoing one but one that I’m personally involved with and means a lot to the middle school students that are part of the Pines Middle Chorus & F.A.S.S. program.
Last year they didn’t have a parent group and thus weren’t able to do events that mean a lot to the students as well as the community. This year we are going to make a difference. I’ve donated my time and have designed a site for them along with hosting the site for free.
They are in need of sponsors to raise the monies needed for scripts for performance, gowns, costumes, equipment, transportation and more.
If you feel like making a difference, whether you’re local or not, sponsors benefit depending upon which sponsor level you opt for.

Today we were the recipients of an act of kindness.
With “Ike” not sure where he’s going and SE FL being in possible tracks, friends came to put up the plywood on the windows. Something I’m not big on doing, I hate being inside darkness all boarded up. However, we are prepared now compliments of 3 friends, my son and myself getting it all done in about an hour and half.

Yes, it may seem trivial but picking up someone’s child from school when that person needs you to is an act of kindness.
I’m a day late in posting, this was the act of kindness for Sept 4.
When someone is in need and can’t get to school on time to pick up their child or if a child misses the bus and they have their parent’s permission to get a ride from you, give them a ride. It’ll help the other child’s parent and the child too.
